“…Unto Him be glory in the church by Jesus
Christ throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians
3:21
This is our goal at Collierville Primitive
Baptist Church. We count it a privilege and honor to worship and
serve the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. We seek
to honor Him by:
·
Worship:
our services consist of prayer, praise, and the preaching of
God’s word. Entire families worship together at Collierville PBC
as we seek to worship God in spirit and in truth. We worship
each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We have an additional service every
second Sunday following the morning service and lunch.
·
Service
and Fellowship: we seek to serve one
another and build each other up as the body of Christ should. We
try to live out what Jesus said, “By this shall all men know
that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John
13:35). We enjoy fellowshipping together over lunch after every
Sunday service.
·
Truth:
we try to place a great emphasis on the truth of God’s word. The
main portion of our worship is dedicated to preaching, as well
as our Thursday Bible Study (alternate Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.).
In an age of shallow Biblical doctrine, we seek to preach the
truth of God’s word as well as apply it to our every-day lives.
·
Evangelism:
we believe the best message in the
world is the truth of a successful Savior of sinners, Jesus
Christ. We have a keen interest in the spread of His gospel at
home and abroad. We pray for God to use us as tools in His hands
to get the good news to His children.
